What is the difference between catering and smoker hire?
For catering, we bring the smoker, cook on-site, and serve the food as part of the event. For smoker hire, we deliver the trailer smoker for your use, then collect it afterwards.
How does the BBQ catering work?
We bring the smoker to site, cook on-site, and serve the food fresh as part of the event. We can shape the setup around your venue, timings, and guest numbers.
Do you offer private events as well as venue and festival bookings?
Yes. Country Roads Smokeshack is available for private parties, venues, hospitality occasions, festivals, and brand activations.
What areas do you cover?
We service Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex, Wiltshire, and Berkshire.
Do you deliver and collect the smoker?
Yes. Smoker hire includes delivery to site, collection afterwards, and inspection on handover and return.
Do you cook on-site?
Yes. The BBQ catering offer is built around live on-site cooking and service.
How much does smoker hire cost?
Smoker hire includes delivery and collection, with handover arranged around your booking and a clear return check once the smoker is back.
Who is this suitable for?
Private hosts, event organisers, venues, hospitality teams, festivals, and brand activations looking for a smoker-led food setup or standalone hire.
What sort of access do you need?
The trailer is large, so we need clear access and enough room to position it safely on site. The trailer is 5m long by 2m wide.
What wood flavours do you offer?
We use different seasoned woods for flavour depending on the setup and menu, including apple, cherry, hickory, and oak.
How does smoker rental work?
We deliver the smoker to site and collect it afterwards, with a full inspection on handover and return so everything is clear at both ends of the hire.
